Woman of the Years Awards 2024

Women from across the kingdom have been awarded by a popular magazine for their excellence and expertise in several fields while also contributing to society's progress and inspiring future generations.

The inaugural Porsche Woman of the Year Awards 2024 Bahrain, hosted by Woman This Month, honoured winners in 19 categories in a glittering gala dinner held at The Art Hotel & Resort, Amwaj.

Red House marketing chairman George F Middleton, who organised the programme, shared that he is ‘indebted to his incredible team of content generators, researchers and marketers whose dedication and commitment knew no bounds during the 10-month duration of this initiative’.

The selection process was conducted in two stages- an initial evaluation by a distinguished panel of five judges and a public voting phase that garnered garnering an impressive response of close to 12,600 votes.

Leading Bahraini painter Safia Ali Mohamed Kanoo, one of Bahrain’s pioneering women artists and philanthropists, won ‘A Lifetime Achievement Award’. She was nominated by five judges for her track record of charitable work and financing of many charitable initiatives and projects in the Bahrain.
