Her Excellency Shaikha Dr Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Board Member of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), led Bahrain’s delegation at the fourth Gulf Advisory Committee for Women’s Sports meeting in Kuwait to discuss advancing women’s sports in the region.
The agenda included reviewing resolutions from the 98th Executive Office meeting in Qatar, assessing the Hackathon programme in Oman, and discussing the Gulf women’s sports electronic platform.
The committee also approved the 2025 work plan for the Sports Advisory Committee and reviewed updates on regional leadership and sports achievements. The BOC also presented the ‘I Am Talented’ programme, promoting gender balance in sports.
Shaikha Dr Hessa thanked Kuwait for its hospitality, highlighting the importance of such meetings in advancing women’s sports and fostering Gulf cooperation.
