Going back to school is more fun with LuLu!

One of the biggest hypermarket retailers has delighted youngsters from across the island with their latest scholastic spectacular.

The LuLu Back to School Carnival, which was launched at Dana Mall, was inaugurated by Bahrain’s Education Minister, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, to celebrate the start of the academic season with an array of super deals on some of the best brands of school supplies.

“Getting back to school is always a time of excitement and new beginnings,” said LuLu Group International Director Juzer Rupawala. “Today’s students have a more complex school life than before and at LuLu we closely follow and study global and regional trends to prepare our Back to School merchandise so that it matches every need. We have made everything affordable and top quality. We wish all students a successful school year ahead.”

LuLu has also partnered with the Ministry of Education to distribute two student shopping vouchers valued at BD7.500 and BD3 among all students in Bahrain, and these can be redeemed at any of the 12 LuLu Hypermarkets across the kingdom.

This year, LuLu introduced two themes within the Carnival— an AI Games section where children (and adults) can familiarise themselves with advantages of AI tools. The other fun surprise is a special ‘Made In Bahrain’ platform which supports Bahraini-owned SMEs. This includes businesses dealing in snacks, crafts such as schoolbag tags, labels, keyrings and grocery products businesses etc.

There is also a Reading Corner where children are invited to explore the world of storybooks and participate in storytelling sessions.

The General Traffic Directorate team was also a part of the event giving children and parents sessions of traffic rules and regulations.

Nutrition and hygiene were also highlighted at the event.

The promotion, which is available in all of LuLu’s hypermarkets, includes all school supplies from school bags of all kinds such as backpacks, laptop bags and trolley bags. This also includes deals on AI tools, laptops and devices for the electronics-led 2024 classroom as well as the best quality stationery and uniforms— and the promo runs until September 15th.
