Foreign Minister receives EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process
Manama, May 16 (BNA): Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, received today the EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process, Sven Koopmans, and his accompanying delegation.
They reviewed cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union and ways of bolstering it to serve common interests. They also discussed the efforts of the European Union to revive the peace process in the Middle East and achieve regional stability. They also spotlighted the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Head of the European Affairs Sector at the Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainis.
