Explore the vibrant fusion of artistic talents at the 'Visual Scapes' exhibition, where 12 artists converge to showcase 45 paintings.
Creatives from across the island joined artistic forces to create a colourful showcase.
The ‘Visual Scapes’ exhibition, which is being held at the Bahrain Artistic Frames Centre on Exhibition Road, is featuring the works of 12 artists with a total of 45 paintings on display.
“Art, I feel is a reflection of your conscious and or subconscious thoughts,” said architect, artist and sculptor Sudeep Sudhir Deshpande, who curated the event. “And just as it creates an individualistic impression of the creator, it also reveals the artist’s mind, his soul, his eyes, and his goal. Visual Scapes is one such coming together of artists with varied takes on life, on emotions, on relationships and on nature.”
Some of the artists participating include Ali Al Hawaj, Madhvi Dhanak, Mohamed Taha and Niju Joy.
The event runs until May 18 and is open to the public from 9am to 1pm and 4pm to 7pm.
Sudeep, a Bahrain Art Hub member and founder who has been living on the island for more than 14 years, also recently organised another showcase called ‘Canvas & Conversations’ which ended on May 11.
“To be able to converse over a canvas, I feel, has always been inspiring and therefore the theme for that show came to mind,” added Sudeep. “My overall approach towards a group art exhibition is to showcase diverse working methodologies, styles, techniques of executing art. And for me, this becomes a guiding factor for artist selection.”
That was evident from all 13 artists that partook in that exhibition.
