Formula One today announced the 2024 Season with Bahrain International Circuit set to celebrate its 20th anniversary as the opening round of the season with its first ever Saturday night race.
Next year's record 24-race calendar revealed that the 2024 F1 season will start with two Saturday night Grand Prix races: one in Bahrain on March 2 and then one in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia the following week.
Changes like shifting the Japan race to April, Azerbaijan to September and Qatar back to back with Abu Dhabi, regionalize the calendar, reducing logistical burdens, managing constraints of climate and making the Season more sustainable.
China will be back on the calendar for the first time since 2019.
The Season ends in Abu Dhabi on December 8.
