Khaled Al Balooshi claimed another superb victory for Bahrain1 Racing in the fourth and penultimate round of the 2024/2025 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship.
He triumphed in the Pro Mod class following an all-Bahrain1 showdown in the final elimination. He was up against teammate Khalil Alansari and won with a time of 4.054 seconds at 230.45kph. Alansari posted a 5.854s mark at 115.22kph.
The Bahrain Drag Racing Championship is the region’s leading drag racing series and is held at the Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) world-class quarter-mile drag strip- which is a member of the Worldwide Network under the US-based National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).
Each season’s champions are honoured with a prestigious Wally trophy of NHRA fame. The sporting event is organised and run by the BIC in cooperation with the Bahrain Motor Federation, the Bahrain Drag Racing Commission, and the Bahrain Motorcycle Commission.
The round’s other winners in the cars classes included Ali Baslar, Safwan Adel, Ali Alkhamiri, Mahmood Mohammed, Sayed Hussain Salman, Mohammed Mohsin, Abdullah Alshamsi, and Obaid Al Balooshi; while the winners in the bikes classes were Ali Hejair, Fadi Abu Jamous, Ali Bahram, and Khalid Aldossary.
Following all the action, the winners were presented their trophies in the podium ceremonies.
The 2024/2025 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship is now headed for its season-finale, scheduled to take place 11 to 14 March.
