
The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) crowned an array of racers as champions of the 2024/2025 Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge (BRMC) at its Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC).
The season concluded with Tariq Soofi, Shaikh Ahmed bin Saqer Al Khalifa, Nasser Nass, Tye Mejia, Abdulla Sajjad, and Mohammed Almahroos securing victories in their respective categories. Each winner was awarded a trophy and a ticket to represent Bahrain at the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF).
The RMCGF is scheduled to take place at the BIC from November 29 to December 6 this year.
This annual event brings together top karting talent from around the world to compete in various categories, showcasing the pinnacle of international karting competition.
As for the categories, here is who won what:
In the Micro MAX category, Soofi finished with 267 points, securing his title and his sixth win of the season in the final round. Shaikh Ahmed claimed the Mini MAX title with six wins throughout the season. Nass dominated the Junior MAX class, while Mejia clinched the Senior MAX title after a competitive season.
Sajjad triumphed in the DD2 MAX class, and Almahroos sealed the DD2 MAX Masters title, winning the final race of the season.
The champions were celebrated at a podium ceremony attended by officials from BIC, BIKC, the Bahrain Motor Federation and the Bahrain Karting Commission.
