A Green Ramadan

As the holy month is upon us, hotels across the island are heralding the warmest of welcomes to one and all with spectacular feasts in twinkling tented Ramadan venues.

Hilton Bahrain has transformed its experience this year with the launch of ‘The Dome by STC’ in a breathtaking new venue close by the hotel.

In partnership with Al Haddad Motors and EK Kanoo, this innovative dome offers a unique Iftar and Ghabga escapade, as the hotel underscores its dedication to sustainability through the Hilton Green Ramadan initiative.

Guests will be carried away on a mesmerizing journey through a starry night Arabian ambience, where a cornucopia of diverse global cuisines, live cooking stations and a dedicated outdoor shisha area await.

Hilton Bahrain’s participation with the Hilton Green Ramadan initiative is in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme. The hotel uses the Winnow System for food waste monitoring and is committed to data-driven action plan for effective and sustainable food management.

“By joining us here at Hilton, guests become part of the solution to support our efforts in tackling food waste and promoting sustainability during the holy month,” said Tamer Farouk, Hilton Bahrain’s general manager.

The hotel reinforced its loyalty to the cause by partnering with Bahrain Food Bank and Peninsula Farms to redistribute surplus food to those in need. The hotel also focuses its attention on local produce, partnerships with Bahraini farmers and fishermen to provide only the freshest, seasonal ingredients in its Iftar and Ghabga buffets and thus reducing its carbon footprint.
