The Fab Five return

The original members of the British boyband Five are back together after 25 years apart and they are ready to hit the stage for a massive UK arena tour.

The group had sold more than 20 million records in the late '90s and early 2000s and now they’ll be bringing the nostalgia with hits like When The Lights Go Out, If Ya Gettin’ Down, and Slam Dunk (Da Funk).

The band, which broke up in 2001, is made up of Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Abz Love, and Jason ‘J’ Brown. And although their split was messy- marked by burnout, breakdowns, and backstage drama-they are all excited for this event.

Scott, who is feeling optimistic, said “This has been a long time coming and it really does feel right for all of us now.” Meanwhile, Abz added, ““Hope you're ready! We really can't wait to get back on stage together & see the fans, it's gonna go off!”

The timing couldn't be better, as the reunion announcement lands on the 25th anniversary of the band's win for Best Pop Act at the 2000 Brit Awards. Five was formed in 1997 after a brutal audition process with more than 3,000 hopefuls, including a pre-fame Russell Brand, vying for a spot with Spice Girl managers Bob and Chris Herbert.

The chemistry between the members clicked, leading to a super signing with Simon Cowell and RCA Records. But the road wasn’t always smooth—living together in a council house led to some serious tension. Despite the drama, Five achieved major success with chart-toppers and iconic moments like performing We Will Rock You with Queen at the 2000 Brit Awards.
