The pop star is on a new episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman, hitting Netflix on Wednesday.
When it comes to performing, Miley Cyrus always goes big — and her appearance on Netflix's My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman is no different.
In a clip from her upcoming episode, premiering Wednesday, Cyrus takes charge in a dimly lit performance space, laying out her terms for the show.
"You were going to introduce me, but I'm going to introduce you," Cyrus tells Letterman. "David Letterman is here. In true spirit, David Letterman asked me to be on his show, but I like to do things my own way. So I turned it around and said, 'You can be on my show.' So this is my show."
Cyrus then sets herself a challenge before performing an unnamed song — possibly her Grammy-winning hit "Flowers" from 2023.
"How extra do you think I can be on this round of the song? Should I try to be as extra as I can?" she asks the crowd, who respond with enthusiastic "yes" cries. "OK!" she promises.
We'll have to wait until Wednesday to see what song she performs and catch her full interview with Letterman. In a trailer released last month, Cyrus shares with the host: "My biggest fear used to be getting fired, and now how good does that sound? Every time someone says, 'Oh, they might not want you to do this anymore,' I'm like, 'Thank God!'"
