Eminem‘s daughter Hailie Jade Scott has revealed the gender of her first baby.

During Friday’s (Oct. 11) episode of her Just a Little Shady podcast, the 28-year-old sat alongside her husband, Evan McClintock, to share the exciting news with fans. The couple used a gold-colored balloon filled with either pink or blue confetti to make the big announcement.

“I hope that showed,” Hailie said as she popped the balloon with a needle, revealing shreds of paper quickly falling to the floor. “It was blue! It’s a boy. We’re so excited.”

After the reveal, Hailie went on to explain her husband’s reaction after discovering he was having a baby boy. “When we found out, Evan was like, ‘They’re going to hunt with me, they’re going to go golfing with me. I’ve got a little buddy,” the soon-to-be mother said, adding her own two cents. “I was like, ‘OK, they’re still going to Target with me.'”

Hailie’s pregnancy was revealed in early October through Eminem’s poignant “Temporary” music video, during which she surprises the superstar rapper with news that he’s going to be a grandpa. In the nostalgic clip, Hailie gifts Em a Detroit Lions jersey with a No. 1 and he nearly breaks down when realizing the back of the jersey says “Grandpa.”
